Trysh Ashby-Rolls Is Published In The Ranks Of Stanford Who’s Who
VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, April 19, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- Stanford Who’s Who proudly announces the addition of Trysh Ashby-Rolls to the prestigious ranks of premier professionals as a result of her phenomenal effort as a professional writer. Throughout her brilliant professional career, Trysh has consistently displayed the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Trysh has been an author and journalist for over 30 years, with a specialization in challenging social issues. She is currently in the process of researching and writing Burnished Gold: Stories from around the world of resilience, courage and healing after major trauma and seeking representation and/or publication of Left Behind Dad: a father’s search for his missing children. Trysh also recently had a paperback version of her book, Triumph: A Journey of Healing from Incest reissued by Phoenix Books with an interactive website for survivors of childhood sexual trauma. The book was initially published by McGraw Hill in 1991, becoming a bestseller in Canada and is still selling around the world.
During her collegiate career, Trysh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Rose Bruford College and a Master of Arts degree with Distinction in Education and Women’s Studies from the University of London. Over the course of her impressive professional career, she held the position of Story Editor on 'Metro Morning' at CBC Toronto Radio, and as a Producer, Writer and Presenter for a weekly current affairs program at CHCH Television, during which time she won an Award for Responsible Journalism. Trysh is a member of The Writers' Union of Canada and the Canadian Association of Journalists.
